The Regional Resource Library has learning kits available for use of child care providers and parents.  Each kit contains items for children to use to learn through play, resources for the provider and parent, and information on how to use the kit.  Borrow each learning kit to help your child learn in many areas!  Kit topics we currently have:

We have a great number of other resources available to child care providers and parents. Click on the list in red that most interests you below. If you are interested in borrowing a resource, email us and let us know which resource you would like, or call and request it. The resource library lists are in Excel. If you just have a general topic of interest, feel free to send that request, and we will find something that can help you!  This is available to child care providers and parents.

Whether you are a parent or provider, you can borrow from any of the lists. We will be happy to pay postage to send you your requested book (s) one time per month if you are outside Alpena County. If you reside within Alpena County we would ask that you be responsible for the pick up and return of all books. Books can be checked out for a maximum of 3 weeks. Our staff will attempt to call and remind you to return checked out items. Please note that if the book (s) are not returned, the book will be considered a lost book. A flat fee of $25.00 will be billed for each book that is not returned within one month. Outstanding fees can be made payable to Child and Family Services.
